Calie -- Put me in the "green with envy" group as I, too, am jealous and wishing that I hadn't left Phoenix 23 years ago.  Looking forward to reading all the great blogs that result from this summit.

Judy -Craig really surprised me with his announcement that he'll be here for a few days.  WOW!  Perhaps next time, we can all come to Florida!? - Calie

Chris Elizabeth- I was thinking about you earlier today - "Darn, Chris Griffith was just here" ... I was kind of hoping that you had extended your visit by a week or so.  (I know I'm dreaming, but it was a good thought).  Hope you enjoyed your time in Sedona. Hope to see some pictures and perhaps a blog, too.  - Calie

Calie -- You must be a mind reader.  I just finished e-mailing Craig and suggesting that these summits be held quarterly with the next one to be held here in the Tampa Bay area in January! 

Judy - I'm thinking of something along the lines of a "Staging Summit" that travels from state to state.  What a great opportunity to meet with stagers with varying experiences!  We could have a team of 3-4 people that travel the U.S. interviewing, brainstorming and networking with other stagers.  What an incredible opportunity to see what's truly going on in our industry, where the needs are and how to better impact the real estate industry, as a whole.  We would need a sponsor or two, but that shouldn't be a problem.  I'm thinking we could start with Arizona and then travel east.  

What do you think?

Calie -- I don't think you got carried away at all....in fact, you got me fired up!!!  I like the idea of a traveling summit.  You would make a great Organizational/marketing manager for the Summit.  Something tells me Craig would be on board with the idea.  Let me know when you hit Florida soil, because I am appointing myself Florida's Offical Summit Wecolming Hostess and it will take me some time to roll out the red carpet and organize a ticker tape parade!

Judy - I like the way you think! I really like the idea of an Official Summit Welcoming Hostess, as it will definitely be needed.  Could we award the initials "OSWH" to each official Hostess? Hmmm ....  this sounds like something too good to pass up!  

Where's Craig when we need him? His ears should be burning by now.

Calie -- I like the way you think, too!  Now I need to head over to the Vista Print website to have some new business cards made up with my new job title....as should you! 

OSWH sounds good to me.  However, since I want to distinguish myself as the Florida OSWH, should I go with FOSWH or OSWHF?  I am torn!   

By the time Craig does show up, he will either need to call the fire department to distinguish those flaming ears or be just in time to design the official OSWH logo!

 

LOL - Judy - I vote for the FOSWH or how about FFOSWH (Florida's First Official Summit Welcoming Hostess).  If you ever need any help, you can have a SFOSWH, followed by a TFOSWH.  How fun!  

I think we should go ahead and call the Fire Dept. and perhaps a shrink.  In a million years, I never thought I'd be spending my evenings in front my computer, coming up with acronyms with a fellow stager from Tampa - who just invited 2000+ people to visit her in January.  WOW - you must have a large home! I'm all packed and ready to go!

Bummer.  I'll be in Phx tomorrow through Sunday.

Calie --  I called the Fire Dept....you call the shrink.  I am definitely going to need it after trying to wrap my head around all those acronyms.

As for having the staging summit at my house....it might work!  My husband and I are empty nesters yet we have a 5 bedroom, 4 bath home with a pool and hot tub which backs up to a shopping center that houses Marshalls, Super Target, and Bombay and also has a great pizza place and take out Chinese food.  A real stager's paradise, so come on down!

I hope you packed your swimsuit....you will need it for the "After Summit Relaxation Therapy"! 

Alright you two - you are making us all so jealous here on AR.  But can your travelling summit travel to Calgary, Alberta Canada?  I'm sure there are lots of stagers here who would love to co-host with me.  Betty  PS  Summer is probably best - unless of course you like to ski.  :)

(A travel hint:  From the east 101, Active Rainers can exit on "Via de Ventura" and drive west for two miles.  Via de Ventura turns into Doubletree Ranch Rd. and is one of those beautiful palm tree lined roads that wanders through Gainey Ranch.  Garduno's is on the SE corner of Scottsdale and Doubletree.)

Hi Cali, Wish I could be there as well - this is a great idea and maybe it's the start of a grass roots effort that needs a little 'Rain to get started.

Calie, You are having so much fun just talking about this Meet and Greet. I can't imagine how much fun you will have at the actual gathering. OK, here is the word -- I'm planning on getting there one way or another. Who can pass up an opportunity like this? 

We will need to incorporate some Canadian stops for this summit for sure.  Vancouver is a must see city!!!

Calie-- I have two appointments that day for volunteering, wonder if I can re-arrange them. Would love to sneak by and say hello!! Darn it...I would love to meet other AR members and of course Craig S. Sounds like a great time, I will have to say it's tentative for me right now. Busy day for me Tuesday but will be up in that neck of the woods...so don't count me out just yet!!

Ahhhh! So close, but yet so far away. I am still planning the Stage California trip over Thanksgiving...

Ok.... We're "Nuts" about the idea! Of course the chance to meet with AR Agent Members and put a glass of wine or two on Dans (PropertyNut Partner) credit card will do it every time! The NutGuys will be there!
