AZ Blog Party With Craig Schiller - Thanks & Some Pictures

Everyone who took time out of their busy schedule and/or drove hundreds of miles to join fellow Active Rain members last night at Garduno's in Scottsdale was rewarded with warm welcome, great conversation, quality drinks & appetizers and a great opportunity to put a face with a blog :)

At least one person who was at the restaurant and couldn't find his "real" group joined us - his name was Robert - who just happened to be a REALTOR.  (If I'm wrong on this - correct me... wasn't someone going to send him an invite to join A/R?)

Thanks to everyone who made it. A special thank you to Mike Jones for driving up from Tucson and to Janice Sutton who drove over 5 hours to get here from Murrietta/Temecula, CA! 

Gary emailed and suggested we do this more often ... like once a month.  What do you think?  We could absolutely turn this into a "real" networking group where we could all learn from each other, network and refer business.  Wouldn't that be nice? ...  What do ya think?

I had a great time and met some great people.  I was very excited to meet Mike Jones from Tucson.  It was a lot of fun.  We should plan more of these AR networking events for all Arizona folks.

Calie - Thanks for all your hard work.  I had a great time and only wished I lived closer!  It was wonderful to meet AR member's in person.  I look forward to doing it again.  You're the best! :)

Calie, You do know I was there in spirit; right? Thank you so much for the update and for all the planning and "putting together" you did to pull this off. A monthly networking event seems like a winner to me. If that gets to be too much perhaps quarterly would work. You have been great to work all this out. THANK YOU!

Calie it was a fun. I think AR orgainizing these Networking Events more often would really help a lot of people... and be fun too.

I had a great time and it was really fun meeting everyone! I think starting a monthly networking group an awesome idea!! I could really benefit from all the great idea's, wisdom, and advice from everyone.

Penny - You are A W E S O M E!  Your ideas and contributions are always welcome.  Let's see what we can get going.  I was talking to Yvonne earlier today about the idea of having "regional" get-togethers.  Perhaps one up North (in Yvonne's neck of the woods), one here in the Phoenix area and then one near Mike Jones in Tucson.  Perhaps after the first of the year - we could all have a "2008 A/R Business Kick-Off" - there's definitely got to be a way for all of us to profit from all of the time we spend blogging.  Don't you think?

Yes, Penny and Calie! We can surely have some interesting networking meetings in various places across the state. Then we can all get together once or twice a year to compare notes. What a fantastic idea Calie. I love the kick-off idea. You mean you don't get your check from AR for blogging Calie? Hum, maybe you should see if it is lost in the mail. Mine arrives once a week.
